Heating and Cooling
All modern Air Conditioning units heat as well as cool. Air Conditioning uses the refrigeration cycle which creates a cooling effect by using heat relocation. When cooling, it works by absorbing heat at the unit inside and rejecting it at the unit outside. To make the system heat instead of cool, there is a valve inside the outdoor unit that reverses the flow. By doing this, the hot part of the system is now indoors and will heat your space to the desired temperature. This is a very effective and efficient way to heat your home.
