One system for one room usually takes no more than a day to install, commission and test.
All you need, to have air conditioning installed, is a space on one of your walls for your indoor unit which cools and heats the space. And room on the ground or wall outside for the outdoor unit which rejects heat when system is cooling and absorbs heat when the system is heating.

Maintenance

A regular maintenance of your air conditioning system is important to pro long the life of the system , keep the system running at its highest efficiency and to keep energy costs down.

A general maintenance will include tasks like making sure air flows freely across both the outdoor and indoor unit. This is imperative as this is how the system picks up and relocates heat in the air. If this air flow isn’t free moving the system will work harder to try and create the desired cooling or heating effect and use more power. This will also case unnecessary wear on components.

We will also make sure all drains are clear.

There is no water inside the pipes on a domestic air conditioning system but the cold part of the system will create condensation. This process de humidifies the space you are cooling. The condensation is caught in a tray installed inside the unit and taken outside by a small drain that gets attached to the pipe work. on the maintenance we will make sure water can flow freely, if required, to avoid leaks.

We will also test all components to check how much current they are pulling, if they are causing a restriction or if they seem damaged. This will allow us to make adjustments or recommendations to benefit the function of your air conditioning.

All maintenance visits will include F-Gas leak checks and certificate and we will email you a maintenance record sheet detailing the checks and work that have been carried out.
